We are Wine Nerds LLC (also doing business as just “Wine Nerds”). We are a North Carolina registered limited liability corporation (LLC).

We collect information from you when you subscribe to our mailing list, request information, or contact us via the website. When subscribing, contacting us, or leaving comments on the website you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address and/or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously and not provide any of this information.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
No. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties personally identifiable information that is provided to Wine Nerds. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website or conducting our business so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential, it remains confidential. We may also release your information when necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. Additionally, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Wine Nerds, as a company policy, does not participate in any unsolicited sales or marketing via text messaging although our main number can receive and send text messages. If you prefer to contact us via text messaging you are more than welcome to send us a text. Texting us will imply that we have your consent to respond to you via text. If, for any reason, you don’t want us to text you anymore just let us know and we will stop.
